Hi, I am not able to download Loopy HD from the Apple Store. iOS 8.0.2 on iPad2, 5,4GB free space. After clicking "Buy", a wait icon turns for a few seconds then stops and nothing has happened. Any hint? Thanks!

Sending a click track or metronome to other devices
This has come up during another post but it is such a pivotal thing in performance that I think it is worth its own post. Has anybody found a way to send a click track wirelessly?
In about 99% of performances where there are machines and more than one musician there is a click track. What drummer isn't playing with headphones these days? If the cans aren't on bet your boots there's a monitor dedicated to the click. We've been playing with loopy in our band for a few months now and it's the only phone/tablet app that we would use seriously, because you can do all your basic stuff without moving through menus. We don’t use lots of sounds, just a few simple loops and single shots to augment the sound. But inevitably we run into this issue - once the clock has started you all have to stay with it otherwise you sound really bad. Really bad. We’ve played with a couple of songs here and there, but we’ve decided not to use Loopy until I can work out how to send a click track to the others. We won’t take the risk that we’ll be embarrassed by falling off the clock.
I’ve tried some midi things – putting Loopy on other devices, connect to my phone hotspot so that everyone else can connect, use my phone as a clock input and turn on a click or whatever sound they want. But it’s horribly unreliable. Same if we use other apps to slave to Loopy. The click generally runs a bit behind which would be ok if the latency was always the same, but it’s not and is often way out. So I tried connecting a Bluetooth receiver, put a click on one Loopy pad and pan left, pan everything else right. But it’s clumsy, you have to split the sound at the other end, can only connect one device and then all your other samples are in mono. And you lose one sound pad.
I could probably get something like the iRig midi interface and run cables to trigger other devices with a click. But I have the iphone/ipod taped to the side of my bass with bluetoothed audio to an amp and it’s such a sweet simple set up which is unobtrusive, doesn’t tie me down with foot pedals and which works. I don’t want everyone cabled up, there are already lots of ways we can do that and I’m loving Loopy and hoping it will set us free!
Anybody got ideas?

Solo track.
I wonder if I am missing something simple but is there a way to solo a track during playback?
I can't seem to find any information on this apart from some discussion relating to FCB1010s.
I'd appreciate some guidance on how to do this and feel free to give me a hard time if it's obvious...
Help guide Loopy's future! Feature requests galore
Hi!
I want your help to guide Loopy's future, and I've set up a poll:
http://www.facebook.com/questions/504463922928679/
Here's the thing: The to-do list for Loopy is quite long now, and I would like to gauge the interest for each item, to help prioritize in a way that benefits the most people. We've got stuff from effects and advanced MIDI control, though to multi-channel audio interface support, loop and session management, audio-triggered punch in, and a whole lot more.
What's important to you?
You can vote on existing items, or add more ideas of your own (make 'em ones you're passionate about only, though, no "Inbuilt shopping list" items here, please!).
one Loopy track In --> Effect--> Loopy Out : others tracks silent !!!
HI I Try an common config here ; via Audiobus2 , I put a Loopy voice track In into Effect improvox ( harmonizer) then feeding into Loopy as the Out ; and … NO SOUND OUT of loopy !! (except the processed track ) ..as if everything else had been muted . weird no? I must add I deactivated Monitoring out in loopy settings and I activated background sound . ( from help video advise)) I saw a former discussion about this bug here( a year ago ) .so do I miss something or is there a pending release to address this bug ?
What are the In-App purchases?
I am interested in purhcasing the app, but I notice in the App Store that there's a plus sign next to the price for Loopy HD, meaning that in-app purchases are involved. However, there's no mention of any in-app purchases anywhere in the description, and I am concerned that more money will be required in order to get the app fully functional. Do all of the features in the description come with the initial price? What are are the in-app purchases? Is there a list of the in-app purchases anywhere? And will I be frustrated with the app if I do not purchase them?
Some App Store vendors do rip customers off with in-app purchases, so my concern is genuine and based on personal experience. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!
IOS 8 and Bass Response ?!?!?!
The improved bass response ( when recording via the 3.5mm input ) that was achieved on the last Loopy update seems to have disappeared with my installation of IOS8. Can you confirm that this is true? is there anything that I can do to fix it?
is there a IOS8 Loopy Update coming?
Authorized Loopy tech?
New to Loopy. I want Track 1 to record song melody, Track 2 to record high level 3 harmony, Track 3 to record low level harmony etc etc. All from one song (3 minute long). Haven't been able to do this on my own. Maybe Loopy isn't the right tool. Is there a Loopy-knowledgeable person in Los Angeles area that I can hire for an hour to help me?
Request: Unset loop length on a session with loops
If been thinking, it would be great to be able to have a session which contains drum loops, but not a fixed session length. I want to: Play a rhythm on the guitar and manually set the loop length pushing in and out on a foot switch. Then the drum loops will automatically adjust in length according to the guitar rhythm length. I understand loopy will need some time to catch up and convert depending on the clock speed of the used device.
All the features this needs are already in loopy. There just needs to be a way to unset the session length, and be able to save this into a session.
Right now this works beautifully already with the metronome, but it's not really usable for performing.
Exporting files?
HI, really love LOOPY HD, for using it for looping and manipulating loops, but one thing I am not capable to do with it is to export loops to other apps in a simple way...
To explain it, when I use Audio Share, it sees what apps are capable of taking samples and by clicking on them it copies them to a proper folder for later use....Great:-)
I can't seem to be able to do this with Loopy without sound cloud etc?... Am I missing something somewhere?
How do I do this inside my iPad?
THANX in advance
Noticeable delay when monitoring on with iPad Air 2
i finally got my iPad Air 2! (@Michael, Apple should give you a commission--I'd been looking to buy a hardware looper, but when I discovered Loopy, I decided to spring for an iPad instead. :) )
I was so excited to start up Loopy, unfortunately, I'm unable to use the app with monitoring on, because the delay (latency??) is so bad. Totally out of sync with the metronome, and I think the recording is also somewhat out of sync.
In a nutshell, whatever I sing/say is echoed back to me almost like a slap echo, rather than coming into my earphones at the same time as I sing it.
Hope that makes sense.
I also just upgraded and am not experiencing this problem on my iPhone 6; just on the iPad Air 2.
Amy suggestions?
Thanks, Melissa

Start recording when a sound is detected
Before I bought the Loopy app, I remember reading that there was a way to make it start recording the loop as soon as it hears a sound that goes above a certain threshold. But now I can't figure out how to do that. Am I misremembering? I'm having a hell of a time getting Loopy's beat to sync up with the drum beat I have set up in ProTools. I've got them both set to the same tempo, but it's tough to get them to start together. Making matters worse is the fact that Loopy's metronome can apparently only be paused, not actually stopped. So I can't just tap the screen on the downbeat, because it will un-pause in the middle of a beat, not on the beat. So I'd have to pause it at the exact right moment, and un-pause it at the exact right moment.
In case you're wondering why I don't just import my drumbeat into Loopy, it's because I'm manipulating the looped audio after the iPad in the signal path. So the looped audio needs a dedicated output. I guess I could just hard pan the drums and looped audio to the left and right, but then it would be mono, which is not ideal.
Importing audio
I'm looking at this tutorial about track importing on atastypixel.com, and it says "drag audio files into Loopy's documents folder in iTunes." Can someone explain this to me? I've been struggling with iTunes for the past hour, trying to find a "documents folder" but I sure don't see one. Under my iPad in iTunes, it lists "summary," "apps," "music," movies..." etc,. and I've looked through all of them, but no Loopy documents folder. I did find Loopy HD listed under apps, but it's just the app icon; nothing happens when I click it or right-click it. I've got these audio files on my computer that I want to use in Loopy, and I tried just dragging them onto "Music" on my iPad, but they still don't show up in Loopy.
Your help is appreciated!
Input monitoring & decay
Here's what I want to do: I want Loopy to delay all the incoming audio by two beats. I don't want to monitor the audio coming in through the audio interface (that will be handled by a different device), and I don't want the audio to repeat more than once. Basically, I want it to work like a delay send with the delay time set to a half note, and with the mix set to 100%.
So I set the time signature to 2/4 and I set the loop bars to one. I turned off input monitoring, I turned on "overdub after record," and I set decay to 100%. But it still seems to be monitoring the input, and the loop is repeating more than once. Is this as close as I'm gonna be able to get to what I want?
Drum pad style
I have downloaded LOOPY HD Love it.. however i feel there is something missing for performance..
away to re trigger loops like drum pads so normally they loop in sync when triggered, if we had an icon like a drum we press then all loops would instantly re trigger when pressed so we can switch between modes when playing live
Ipad 1
Hello, I have Ipad 1. How is it possible to download and install the Loopy HD app on my tablet? The only version of the software available on ITunes is the latest one which requires IOS 7 or higher.
The loops start some ms before!?
Hi guys,
I am spending several time on loopy, and I always had the feeling that my loops were a little before, not perfectly on time. And I was thinking "but maybe later, because of some delay, not before, probably it's just a feeling". I always had this feeling, also when recording any kind of instruments.
So I decided to do this test, and maybe you could try it.
Try to open whatever app for drum loop, in this case I am using drum jam. Now assign the master clock to loopy (everything is on audiobus obviously). Now record the loops using the start button from loopy, just 2 measures. When the loop will end, you will feel that the two drums (one running on drum jam and the other one on loopy) are not perfectly in sync. Now try to move clockwise the drum loop on Loopy and... you'll start to hear a flanger: the tracks are almost together. It means that the drum loop on Loopy comes a little bit befor.
How's possible?!?
Maybe there's something I can try do to? Or maybe just insert in the app a feature that moves automatically all the loops some ms later? :-)
Maybe that could be not important for someone, but for me it's extremely important. The timing on loops is everything.
Thanks,
Marco
Loopy MIDI Actions Table
Hey all, I put together a Google Doc so I could really outline the behavior of Loopy's MIDI assignable actions and thought that maybe it would be of some use to others to see the behaviors all listed out.

I totally wrote this for my own purposes so YMMV and I'm sorry if the notes are a bit cryptic. If there is something that seems egregiously incorrect, kindly let me know and I'll update it.
