Seeking help with "toggle record without count in" problem

Hi,

I have four pedals of my FCB1010 mapped to "toggle record without count in", and another mapped to "toggle session pause and restart", per Marc's example in the following post:

After recording a loop via one of the "toggle record without count in" pedals, I'm often pausing everything via the "toggle session pause and restart" pedal in order to get my bearings (I'm new at this and I'm not doing things particularly efficiently). This leaves all my loop timing indicators at 12 o'clock. If I then try to record another loop via another "toggle record without count in" pedal, I'm finding that the recording starts a bit "early", with the loop timing indicators around 10 o'clock or so. It doesn't seem to happen all the time, but more often than not. And it's really throwing off my mojo.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I've gone through the various menu options and can't seem to figure it out.

Any ideas?
