I'm having to use MainStage for my current live looping setup because I work with another musician.
I find MainStage clunky at best but it allows us to dedicate 2 separate inputs to the channel strips where our 'own' loop plugins reside.
We love loopy but can't find a way of dedicating a particular audio interface input to particular loop.
The workaround we've found is panning the loopy loops output hard left and right - it works but we end up with the wave display of both left and right on the loops.
Other option is to 'take it in turns' to record loops with some sort of switching device that shuts off the other one's signal when we're recording.
I have tried a glut of mixing apps including AUM and Mimix to no avail.
The only reason I ask is that one of the new kids on the block looper apps seems to allow hardware routing to chosen loops/tracks.
Is this something that I've missed in loopy - quite possible with me being a MIDiot of the highest proportions at times.
Any pointers or ideas greatly appreciated guys !
